Kav is a British-based solo artist, formerly of legendary Madchester act The Happy Mondays. He co-wrote single Playground Superstar, title track for blockbuster film Goal, and appeared on the Happy Mondays latest album Uncle Dysfunktional.

Kav has been compared to “A Latter-day Jagger” by The Guardian (UK) and on his debut EP he has been compared vocally with the likes of Bob Dylan, Shaun Ryder, Bobby Gillespie and Lou Reed. His music has been described as The Rolling Stones being hauled into the digital age by Death In Vegas.

Prior to Kav’s solo career he launched Get Loaded, one of the most successful club nights in London. Throughout the years it has featured amazing guests such as Peter Hook (Joy Division and New Order), Carl Barat (Libertines/Dirty Pretty Things), Client, The Beta Band, Mani (Primal Scream and The Stone Roses), Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets), The Smiths and the legendary Tony Wilson (Factory Records).
