Their latest EP release, Sugarcoat, has been a hit with old fans, new fans and industry alike. It included the Single - "Everyone Jump (When They Tell You How High)" - which has gone on to debut at #9 in the AIR sales charts and #3 in the AIR Airplay Chart.
The track was the #2 most added track to radio in Australia the first week in february and is currently receiving national high rotation airplay on NOVA, MMM, Austereo and major regional networks including a debut on the HOT30 countdown at #21. No mean feat for a truly independent artist!
AIR Charts ‘Mover of the week’ Finabah face a year with more shows, more exposure and more potential than ever before. With nearly 100 shows booked for 2010 already, including several high profile events, Finabah are a true example of a hard working band taking their music to the Nation.
"Combining the voice and angst of some of Australia's cross-over emo and 'scene' bands (Kisschasy, Gyroscope come to mind) with some fine balladry and an overt pop sensibility, Finabah is ripe for a huge audience. Big chorus's and hooks abound"
"We just want to write big solid songs, that get stuck in your head for days and really make the listener feel like they are a part of the music... to me the shiver you get when a lyric sparks your brain, or a beat hits your heart is the most important thing we do" says bass player Brendan Langfield.
