Having developed a reputation as one of the most interesting artists around with her unique brand of cello and sample driven folk-pop, Tara Simmons’ has also become known as somewhat of a studio-fanatic, releasing three EPs and a full-length album in the last few years. In what’s become a familiar story it’s no surprise that Tara Simmons is already back in the studio working on new material - this time for a yet to be titled side project. More details of this are to be unveiled soon, but for now fans will have to be content with the announcement of a run of shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney throughout June.

The release of new single ‘I Cannot Be Saved’ will see Simmons take to the stage at Brisbane’s Powerhouse every Friday as part of The Residents program where she’ll be mixing it up each week with shows ranging from solo to full band appearances.
